Stephanie Foley, MD
Stephanie graduated from Universidad San Francisco De Quito in June 2007. She grew up in Quito, Ecuador and Chapel Hill, North Carolina. She received her B.A. degree in biology from Universidad San Francisco De Quito. In 2008 Stephanie volunteered at the University of North Carolina’s Student Health Action Coalition (a student led organization whose mission is to provide free health services to local underserved individuals, partner with community organizations to develop sustainable programs, and create an interdisciplinary service-learning environment for students in the health sciences programs). During residency, she has continued to focus on the underserved population, and is now interested in education and developing community-based health initiatives. After residency she plans to work in an outpatient setting in an underprivileged and underserved area. She is fluent in Spanish and proficient in French. Some of her hobbies and interests include dancing, outdoor activities, listening to music and traveling.
