Tim Carle, MD
Dr Carle, a 2007 graduate, will be traveling with his wife and son to work for a year in New Zealand. His locums position will be primarily urgent care with some primary care as well. Afterwards, they plan to return to western North Carolina where he will work in private practice.
He appreciates the reinvigorated commitment to training family medicine physicians over his final eight months at Duke. The core vision and passion he sees in many of our recently recruited faculty show a potential to lead this department's return to relevance. It is just this contagious passion for our specialty that he hopes will recharge the entire department's appreciation for the vital role of resident education.
