Deborah Sharp-Dale, PA-C
Deborah Sharp-Dale has been a member of the Duke Family Medicine team since 2008. She received her undergraduate degree in kinesiology from the University of California at Los Angeles (UCLA) and her Physician Assistant Certification from The College of Osteopathic Medicine of the Pacific. She spent several years providing family and community care to the inner city residents of Los Angeles, before spending the next nearly 10 years in the Emergency Department. While she sometimes misses the excitement of the emergency department, she is thrilled to experience the continuity of patient care that family medicine at Duke has to offer. It is a joy to treat entire families and enjoy a true practitioner-patient relationship. Deborah speaks Spanish, is dedicated to improving care of Latino patients in North Carolina.
Deborah has lived in North Carolina since 2007, and is enjoying exploring this wonderful state. She spends her free time with her husband and three children. Days are filled with soccer, basketball, and baseball practices and games. Never tiring of the beautiful game of soccer, Deborah can often be found flipping through the channels to watch an international game. Deborah loves her community, driving to the beach, and finding new locations to explore.
